Update: Montclair High Student Did Not Have Weapon, Police Say

Montclair High School and Renassiance School were in a "lockdown situation" Wednesday morning based on an inaccurate report of a student with a weapon, police said in a statement released Wednesday afternoon.

Responding police quickly located the student near the George Inness Annex and determined the student was unarmed. A spokesman said police did identify two other students who may have been involved in the incident, adding that it remained under investigation Wednesday.

No one was injured and no arrests have been made, police also said.
